This woman, who owned a trendy salon, believed that teeth whitening services would be a superb addition to her lineup of services such as eyelash extensions, temporary tattoos and custom makeup services to name a few. But after an Alabama Board of Dental Examiners inspector accused her of practicing illegal dentistry, she had to stop. Her ongoing lawsuit with the state has waded into the murky area of regulating teeth whitening products that are increasingly offered in settings outside the dentist’s office, such as salons and mall kiosks. Thank you for reading about zoom teeth whitening and dentistry.

This dentist exerts extra effort in figuring out a cure for a disease which would be eliminated if people would take good care of their teeth. In the United States, he says that 28 million people suffer from gum disease or periodontitis. The disease will cause a great number of these persons to lose otherwise healthy and undecayed teeth during the prime of life. The University of Washington?s center for research in oral biology reported that though the disease is not fatal, Americans spend $5 million yearly for dental health alone which exemplify that they are adversely affected by the disease. A TV commercial showing a child who boasts about having only one cavity reveals to us the sad state of the nation’s dental health. When he reaches 21, the child will have had cavities in most of his teeth.
Having cavities is a common disease. Why this is so is a result of many different reasons. Sometimes, cases of cavities are passed on to the next generations just like heart disease. A grandfather with good teeth is not a sign of your good dental health. Maybe his hometown provided fluoridated water. Consumption of sweets may not have been an issue. Most likely, his teeth was kept clean through brushing with tooth powder and rinsing with salt water.
Though you may not act upon your own heredity, you may act on other things. By asking the government to fluoridate the water supply, your children may receive better protection from dental diseases. By drinking fluoridated water, a child has lesser chances of acquiring cavities. Osteoporosis can even be prevented because of fluoridation.

Each infant is deserving of good dental care just like your average person. Giving care early would help you make sure your child’s first teeth would grow the right way. This is important because primary teeth reserve space for permanent teeth. When a baby tooth is lost too early, the space it vacates might be occupied by the other teeth, and new teeth would grow crookedly. The fluoridation of water supplies throughout United States could reduce the cost of dental health bills by as much as $100 million a year, according to the American dental association. There is a possibility that this will happen. A campaign by The Department of Health and Welfare has been started to provide assistance for the fluoridating of about 438 community water systems and 100 school water systems About 6,800 communities or 46% of the population in the country already benefit from water fluoridation, and the number would continue to rise because of this.
A survey showed that 76 million adults still don’t know fluoridation is and its uses despite its practice throughout the country. 43 million adults mistakenly believe that the purpose of fluoridation is to remove pollutants or purify water for drinking. Around 45 million of those who receive water from public water systems are not sure whether they have fluoridated drinking water or not.

This dentist undeniably extends his working hours until dawn just to figure out a cure for a disease which could be avoided if people would just brush their teeth. He says that periodontitis or gum disease is experienced by around 28 million people in the United States. A lot of people will lose their healthy teeth at an early age because of this gum disease. Americans are affected by this disease in a way that they spend $5 billion a year on dental care even if the disease is not deadly, according to the University of Washington’s center for research in oral biology.
The interdisciplinary fight against gum disease includes research in electrical engineering and biochemistry as well as studies in the schools of medicine and dentistry. But in all their research they’ve found no better preventive than regular brushing and flossing of the teeth. Collagen is the connective tissue in the teeth held by the bone. Collagens are like wires but if anything disrupts its structure, it will result to possible teeth loss which is caused by plaque.
