With today’s appearance obsessed culture, we have people all around us taking care of their looks. We all want to be slim and have lots of hair on our head. We don’t want any wrinkles and we certainly don’t want any yellow teeth. I happen to know a thing or two about tooth bleaching, so I will give you an overview of the available products to achieve this.

1. Whitening pens. With whitening pens, you get a quick fix for yellow teeth that only lasts for about a day. Whitening pens are not meant to whiten your teeth permanently. The whitening solution in them can be applied to teeth and it will stick to them in only a few seconds. You will instantly have your pearly whites back, even if it’s just for one moment.

2. Whitening toothpastes. When it comes to whitening toothpastes, you should never expect too many results. Toothpastes are a very cheap product and you get what you pay for. You can whiten your teeth slightly with these toothpastes, but only if you use the toothpastes for weeks on end.

3. Whitening mouthwashes. If you are not satisfied with the results you get from using whitening toothpastes, then perhaps you ought to try to complement the toothpaste with a mouthwash. These mouthwashes will get you only very little additional results, but at least they do a great job at refreshing your mouth.

4. Whitening tray kits. If you want to use whitening kits to bleach your teeth, you can look forward to some real results. Whitening kits are based on the very powerful hydrogen peroxide chemical. You place this chemical in trays and wear those in your mouth. The gel then proceeds to bleach your teeth.

5. Hydrogen peroxide strips. Like tray systems, the strip systems are based on the hydrogen peroxide chemical. Instead of putting the gel on a tray, you get strips with peroxide preapplied to them. You wear these strips over your teeth and in due time you will notice them getting whiter.

6. Baking soda teeth whitening. If you aren’t interested in any of the commercially available products described above, then perhaps you want to make your own whitening toothpaste. You can do this by mixing baking soda and a hydrogen peroxide solution. After brushing your teeth with the resulting toothpaste, rinse carefully. You’d be surprised at the results you can get from this.

These products are basically what you have available to you when you want to bleach your teeth to regain those pearly whites you used to have. Some of these products are cheap, some are expensive. Some work only a little bit, some work very well. The more results you want, the more you will have to pay. But that decision is entirely up to you.
