Im going for two dental implants in about month how painful is it after the surgery hate dental pain?

im a bit nervous going to dental school for it 700 a tooth but how much pain is there after wards and post op pain medications whats prescribed and can they sedate me.but im going back for another appontment to talk about surgery but when i had teeth pulled dentist gave me nothing for pain and was in terrible pain had to go to hospital for meds but should they ask u before surgery if you want pain meds have low tolerance for dental pain
