If you wanted to try an experiment for yourself (preferably when there is no one else around) try drinking some water in a glass and then through a straw while holding your mouth crooked. See what I mean? Now, don’t forget to clean up the mess! Imagine if you had no option but to have to live like that for the rest of your life? Many years ago before facial reconstruction and cosmetic dental work was available this is the way many unfortunates lived.

Even today in the poorer countries of the world where Leprosy is still prevalent, if the afflicted have their faces eaten away with this terrible disease, many of them still live like that. There are drugs to help slow the disease but they are too expensive for most and aren’t always readily available and they certainly can’t afford any facial reconstructions let alone dental procedures

Teeth are as individualistic as people. How many people have you noticed lately with very similar mouths, teeth or smiles? Not many, not even in the same family, I’ll bet. We grow our adult teeth when we are still children and these have to last us for the rest of our lives. Well, as long as we want to have all our own teeth anyway.
